From December 10 to 12, Malawi hosted the Israeli Film Festival, called the “Sherekeya Israel Film Festival”.
The opening night of the festival took place on the evening of December 10, when the premiere of the film was screened for exclusively invited guests. This day is special in Jewish tradition because it is the first night of the Hanukkah holiday – the holiday of miracles and fires.
The film premiered simultaneously in 5 countries: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Seychelles, and Malawi.
